ekiM for Change's harm reduction is a piece of the puzzle as our community comes together to provide support and safety to those impacted by this epidemic. ekiM has been serving Pitt County and advocating through National Organizations since 2012

ekiM's Mission

To empower clients to live healthier and more fulfilling lives, while raising the health and safety indicator of the community.
To treat all people with respect and dignity allowing members to move through the process of participant driven self-discovery and self-empowerment in a judgement-free environment.
To develop relationships based on honesty, community tolerance, and cooperation with participants and community members.
To provide resources, advocacy, and a broad range of educational, health and referral services that reduce the risks associated with drug use including Viral Hepatitis, HIV and overdose.
